G'day Folks- I haven't progressed with renovating my 3/1 since I joined about four years ago, but that's not why I came today....

I couldn't find a more likely category for this so hope here's ok.......

I saw this engine at a static display a few weeks ago and the only identifying traces is 'The Lister' cast onto it, as per pics.
I've had a hunt on the general webs but can't find anything the same, does anyone have any idea...?

It's the same basic setup as a CS 3/1 6/1 my limited knowledge tells me it's just an earlier version, but couldn't find any other ID marks or casting numbers or anything

 Thanks in advance, duTch

Hola Folks- A nother newbie here...registered the other week, but took a while for acceptance. Am not sure if I'm doing this right, but can't find a better option...

Since 1980, I've been custodian of a I think 3/1or maybe 3.5/1- could never figure it out.. . It and I are not at the same place, so for a while info will be sparse..I'm running off memory...
I had a operating manual for it, but it's gone to history...but now replaced it with one from 'Plough Books'...
It was a primary power/ water pumping  source at the property when we bought it, and subsequently added some solar panels, and a smaller 'genset'...but at a point when I'd finally got it running its best about '98, I had to move it and I to a different part of the property, but it's been neglected for the last few years...last had it running about 10 euu?erhh...maybe 12 years ago...it was originally hooked up to a Conyer 2KVA Alternator, but parts for that went scarce, so I adapted something different..???..details later

What I do remember, is that after a shit situation, the big ends flogged out and with consultation with a local machine shop, we used Nissan Patrol slipper bearings sidexside- PT43 rings a bell, but that also sounds like a vehicle defect slip I had a few of back in the day, may have the numbers mixed up....maybe I'll get backk to yeas in a while after I've sussed things out a bit better....hoping to be up there in a couple of weeks, so may have better detail after then.... just had to touch base..

 cheers, duTch
