Nice. By the time your project is completed it will probably be close to being in show genny condition. im still looking for a 10/1 or 12/1 or 12/2 for myself, unfortunately in all my travels here in alberta Ca. I haven't seen 1 that is available for sale or in decent enough shape to rebuild. Seen 2 that needed crankshafts and cases not including anything else the rebuild was going to require.
Good Job and keep up the work, the light at the end of the tunnel is a lot brighter than when you first started this project.

We are visiting my sisters and my brother in law has owned numerouse tr2 and tr3,s over the years since they live too far away for power lines to be brought in. he just had a 2 generator failure in the same day. Main tr2 after several hours of farting around we realized that the camshaft broke some where around the #4 push rod. it would run but just die all of a sudden. Back up genny had a spring break on the #2 fuel pump so it stayed in the no fuel position. After talking with the brother in law I realized what may have lead up to genny#1 camshaft failure, his oil servicing interval. He changes his oil every 30 days not every 250 hrs. he runs his gennies continuosely so it should be every 10 days not every 30. guess he shouldn't complain tho since he usually gets between 27,000 and 35,000 hrs out of a tr2 or tr3.
