Portable air tanks work nice with filler welded it.

It all makes sense to me now. Wondered for some time what happened. What I figured.

Not that I would .I would buy 3/4" anyway aluminum plate waterjet finished sections, CNC mill each section, machine fastenings, dowel pin, mounting holes, TRB races, with O-ring groves and bolt it up! No boring mill needed anyway. Welding would work on anything but involves another line of work and attack.... in theory you could get waterjet parts within +/-.010, and finish it on a Bridgeport.

Figured it out! Like I said it must be my end. The little up down button upper right hides all the stuff I use!

Interesting! At least I now know it is me! When I log in it doesn't show I am logged in or any of the link buttons. I must have some goobers on my end!

It appears on my end there is no "topics posted sense last visit" button anymore. Is it my end? Makes it hard to keep up on goings on!

My dad ran his 6/1 to keep the freezer inline! He is 93. I bought 2 from George many years ago. He put electric start on his. I think that may be a good idea as years move on.

Glort, (sp chk!) Saw your find. 1st one I've seen aside from mine. I might have a earlier version but still same basic design.

I Appriciate the dock bumpers. I assembled a couple of 6/1's for mobile operations. I also noticed it looks like you have a 3 point base. I learned if you use 4 points you never have the same load on each mount and they tend to move until it finds equal load on all 4 points. A 3 legged stool doesn't rock! I'll do that next time.t

The digging force is relative to the weight of the machine. The lightweight one won't do much more bolted to a heavy machine. The hydrolic system is rated for the design. I had a 3 point type mounted to a 43hp Kubota. The pump attached to the pto. It was weak but like it was said beat the heck out of a shovel! You could take it off and use the tractor for other things.
