In cold climate you can use a lighter SAE oil or in hit climate go heavier. I get both extremes here and stick with the SAE30

Which engine oil is best to use for my lister D on petrol?
will soon be converted to gas.

I have owned a Lister D petrol engine and a Lister pump for some time now.
Now I'm curious if anyone can help with the years of construction?
