Red Stone Engines / Re: I found Redstones for sale.

The pics you posted look more like Changfa types to me, TBH. The newish Blackstone engines of Indian origin (aka the "Redstones") tend to be more brick like, as I recall.

Still - would be interest to see pics & specs (you're in the wrong country for me to be interested in one...)

Pics and specs may happen, but not on this site.

Changfa engines have only one flywheel.  Those now in my avatar have two.

Sorry have to ask... 3 months later.. Did you get them?

Yes.  They arrived a few weeks ago.

Not much interest here, then.

The offer remains open for another three days, at which time I will finalize my order.

I'll take it, then, that you don't want one.

Yes, I have asked for pictures with an indicator of the current date, etc.

New old stock.  A new friend has found several engines that can be made available.

Three are spoken for.  Three are left.  All hand-cranked.

PM me, to make arrangements.

Leave your naysaying somewhere else, if you've a mind to comment.  This is for legitimately interested people.

Not available.  Not going to be.  Mine, all mine.

Changfa Engines / Re: I've got something for sale ........ SOLD !

I would think if you were selling something you would list a price, where it is located , shipping etc.
It's like you refuse to give details......

Well, you might think that, mightn't you?

Maybe I was finding out if anyone was interested, and would invite them to PM for details.

Maybe I know what I paid to get the engines here, but do not know what the price in the collector market looks like, so wanted to chat offline with a prospective buyer.

Maybe, having come to a good faith agreement with another party, I would have sold the engine even if I did not need to, because I said I would.

Meh.  Guess we'll never know, because you convinced me early on.  Thanks for that!

I have something for sale.
I don't know what it is. I don't know where it is located. I don't know how much I want for it.
If you are interested don't contact me.

Thanks for your inquiry !

Or, it could be that you personally kept another member from picking up something nice, because I won't bother trying to sell anything here any more.

Turns out, the toys I wanted didn't cost as much as I thought, so I'll just happily keep both brand new Laidongs.

"I have a 10/1 listeroid but don't remember the brand"

Enough said.

Nevermind.  Skip it.

Is this the right forum to post this in?

I have my heart set on a couple of different toys, and could use a little extra dough quick, if anyone is interested.

First of all, if you want to sell compressors your at the wrong forum.
Find a forum that will be glad for you to post about them.
Since the compressors I would sell would share most of their parts with given models of Diesel engines made in China, and since this is a sub-forum dedicated to these exact engines, I thought maybe this would be relevant and welcome discussion.

If I was wrong, well, that was my thought process.  I am now educated.

Find a manufacturer that will make them to your spec.
Rather, find a company who will help me to prototype the relevant pieces, designed so that there is coverage for many compressor models from a few different pieces.

That process is ongoing, or maybe was ongoing.

I'm trying to give you some ideas.
Your in the compressor buisness, nothing else. This means that you only sell compressor parts to keep them operating as they intended to.
What people do with the compressors is their buisness.
I've already had those ideas, and committed myself to selling air compressors and spare parts for same.

Be legal and honest. This way no one gets burned at the stake.

That is what most people want.
That's all I ever wanted.  Just to provide a possible channel by which this latent demand for air compressors of various designs and capacities can be met.  I came to do market research, and to maybe make a couple friends by providing space and last-leg connection for an import.

That's not welcome, and that's valuable information, too.

If you have any questions, send me a PM.
By now, I think I have sufficient information.

Actually I wish you well in your endeavour.  But I am not going to pump you full of BS to support it. I give you the facts as I see it.

As one of the early posters stated, your not attempting anything that already hasn't been tried,, and your also not the first to blame us forum members because we didn't all line up with orders for engines we don't want or need.

I don't blame anyone for anything.  Hell, the proof's in the pudding.  Will I drop the engines at Fastenal?  Who knows?  I dig that.  I doubt anyone would care to see photos of the engines I finally receive, so I won't bother posting them.

My offer was:  I'm getting stuff shipped, anyway.  If you're interested, your engine can ride over and I'll make the last-leg connection.  That's it.  Don't buy something you don't need.

Is that clear enough?

My goal was to obtain information about the market, and the core of the enthusiasts in it.

And I have done so.
