I'm in need a stub shaft for my Lister ST2.

If I had my choice of would be 1.88 inches.

My plan is to power a LIMA MAC 7.5KW generator head, The shaft on it measures 1.874 inches.

I'm still trying to decide if I should drive it directly or use belts.

Any advice would be nice.

Thanks for the info.

It is an ST2A.

The rack to one of the fuel pumps was stuck. I removed both fuel pumps and cleaned them. I thought I would check the timing since I had them off. The manual recommends the use of something called a spill tube to check the timing?

Anyway, I was just trying to eye when fuel flowed out from the top of the pump. It didn't correspond to the marks on the flywheel and I didn't feel very confident in what I was doing.  However, after assembling things, the engine runs fine.

So now do I remove the flywheel and check the key. You seem to thing the chance of it being sheared is slim.

Also, what method is best to keep the crank from rotating when removing the flywheel bolt?

I need to pull the flywheel to my Lister STA. I suspect that the key is sheared and I want to check it. The engine runs well but I was trying to check the fuel pump timing and it appears to be way off.

The only way that I can imagine the engine running with the timing off is if the key is sheared and the flywheel out of position and the timing is actually correct.

Anyway, since this engine rotates counterclockwise, Is the bolt reverse threads to keep it from loosening. I know it is locked by a washer but from my experience reverse threads have always been used in this situation. I don't want to apply force until I know which way to go.
