Wow, Alex Jones really left an impression huh :D

Stop the mud slinging! Im more of a rense fan myself .
I didnt realize a molten salt nuclear reactor was alex jones  material.
Building 7 probably is, although ive never heard  an engineer  give us the breakdown regarding this mystery.
Last time i checked a catostrophic loss of power to any US (sans 1 or 2) power plant essentially would  result in meltdown.
I had an old friend  that used to tell me that if u ignore the big dog showing u his teeth theres a good  chance ur gonna get bitten in the arse.

General Discussion / Three important questions (spoilers alert)

Hello folks.
Lister engine forum's biggest racist here.  Name of Mike.  Skippy's my dog.
There are some countries on this great planet that automatically remove your hand when your caught stealing, but here in the United States, all of our presidents, vice presidents, associates and cronies all have both their hands, and arms, legs and feet.  Their unwitting minion's, possibly not.  Tis a shame as we were almost over the wave of vets from the vietnam war.  This is not sarcasm, or an attempt at humor.  i write this with intent eyes.  Mouths mean nothing.  Talk to a lawyer and you'll see what i mean.

We are looking for the hundredth monkey.

You want to hear the questions don't you?  Spoiler alert.  Theres more than three mind you.  Please post.

Why would a buddhist monk set himself on fire?  What happened to building seven?  Why the wait on molten salt nuclear reactors?

My lister had a 45 degree cant on the dipper, it sort of makes sense.  Technically wouldn't a slight twist in the correct direction possibly create a situation that directed more oil towards the cam area of the engine?

If my dipper had a 45 degree cant, I don't think I'd be telling everyone about it.   ::)

Quinn

Well it does.  And it still sorta makes sense. :)

Casey,  your`e no  racist,  riceism is different,  its  a condition usually triggered by unsuccessful attempts to resucitate a crappy dead Loncin engine in a grandchilds quad/pitbike when faced with the threat of an imminent Sino container borne invasion.

Mark.

 ;D Thats funny!
I'm actually 36.  No grandkids, or kids.  Just a girlfriend.  I got a vasectomy about four years ago.  Now i just F@ck.  How bout you?

Your reading too shallowly, and ur also thinking with your UK mentality.  Let me break it down for you.  The US is prime real estate, albeit a bit contaminated from 2000+ nuclear bomb tests.  The UK is quaint, and moist, and beautiful.  But thats it.  We're talking business and pleasure hear.  The US is business...  The UK is nice but you might as well just go to Ireland and get the same weather but with good beer and the promise of a fight!

Its like this.
If ur against a war are you unpatriotic?
Depends who you ask.
I love my troops, i'm an army vet.
But i disagree with the assignment with which they have been given.
Same with race.  This thread is about governing bodies.

Just as a sidenote, if i had started this thread off as the governing body "in charge" of the race of human beings locate at such and such a geological location would i have avoided this racism charge?  I know when people change the subject.

Still got rampant riceism  over the pond ?

Same here.  What is this a response to?
I'm feeling a lot of anger in this room tonight. ::)

I see you wrote "Im no racist" so i'm gonna assume this was a response to my response.

If it is i feel that there is a need to mention there is a huge (HUGE) difference between a "class of people/race of people" and "their governing bodies".
I'm not racist.  I am speaking of governing bodies.

I made the harsh statements to highlight that "wrongness" has a lot to do with point of view.  Some Chinese might think that it's wonderful that these people have any job.  When I was broke and hungry my perceptions were a bit clouded compared to now.  Many Americans might think it's wonderful that we're keeping the world a bit more free and safe.  But why am I in here keyboarding this malarkey when I should be out measuring up the generator pit.  Priorities!

Two of my favorite phrases are "I'm no racist" and "honest to God".  I try to find my rose colored glasses and lock on my purse when ever I hear or read them.

Now where's my tape?

Casey

China does own the world.  We're just in a dark leasehold situation.  Try and keep in mind that we don't screw with our best customers.  Let's hope they have this same philosophy.

I wonder what they say about us sending about 4500 of our children to their deaths and 32,000 to wounded status just so we don't have to pay over $5 a gallon of gasoline?

Cheers,

Casey

Cheers to you also Casey.
I'd say that their governing body would say "that is the cost of doing business".  In the same manner of course that our governing body says the same thing.
I like how your glass is half full, although land is always worth more than cold hard cash.
All in all do you see any legitimate TeChNiCaL difficulties with this scenario?

First off i'm not racist.  I love asian culture.  i'm talking governing bodies and the general mental welfare of a societies state.
Second off its pretty fair to say that chinese governing bodies don't mind if their youngins are stitching me undies, so to speak, or wrenching on that harbor freight powerhouse air cooled motor at a rather young age?

With that mentality in mind...
China, i've heard or read, "technically" owns the US?
I'm sure they are not buying our stock for braggin rights...
At one point they intend to cash in the chips and the politicians that sold us all move to aruba...
and outlaw or buy all the bullets of (starting with the east coast) the only weapon worth a damn during in an invasion of persons with similiar weapons...
and china arrives here in thousands of modified steel import cargo containers, sorta like our listers...
packing ak's, in droves.
and our troops are told to stand down similiar to those planes on that fateful day 10 or so years ago.  Oh wait no i'm sorry all our troops are in the desert...
i have nightmares every night but i always give myself a good laugh when i outline this scenario.
it would make a rather good movie no?
Technical difficulties with all this?  I'd like to hear some, help me subside my worried heart.

And technology!  A few years ago i went out and had my 20 year old cast iron boiler with a wall mounted plastic one that saves me twenty bucks in gas a year...  Although it was a tad more expensive, and i need to replace it because they stopped making my particular model two years ago and the parts are no longer available... and i need a part...

The Iphone 5 uses a different charging/data connector.  Poor Apple Corporation now has to resupply all of the accessories that make the Iphone such a great companion.  So the battery died in my four year old Iphone this week.  Do fix it or upgrade to the 5.  If the battery replacement doesn't work I'll be going to another OS.  Yup, a different battery voids the warranty.  I wonder why it doesn't void the copyrights?  Wait a minute.  Perhaps I should pick up another used Iphone GS for a few dollars, stick my AT&T card inside it and help save the planet.

The only constant is change.

Casey

I get in heated debates regarding iphone versus android with an old school chum.  Hilarious, i've used the inability to change your own battery without a screwdriver arguement with him but i forgot his rather crafty defensive reply.
Its quite a shame that humanity hasn't demanded change for the better.
Perhaps as a species we deserve to get the rather soiled end of the stick.

I just save a bookmark on my browser to a thread I want to keep track of.

Your right, and i'm not complaining, in case it comes off that way.

The Tooth Fairy is alive.

The part of the myth I like is that we can try to release all of the carbon and associated heat from around the Mesozoic era but not return to that environment - climate.  Perhaps once the mast ocean algae populations come to life and the oil and coal beds begin to reform the planet will return to a more human friendly place.  So get out there and over fertilize that lawn today.  Save the planet.  Better living through chemistry.

Heres a brilliant article showing how your cars brakes and electronics may be blood relatives... Except this guy is so stupid, when his wifes car loses its brakes cause of an electonics failure he doesn't scrap the car, he fixes it...

According to our recently-resigned (retired) Government Chief Scientist, Global Warming (ah, sorry, Climate Change) is real, but now there's a 25 year delay between cause & effect.... so any "warming" we're seeing now is a result of the 1980s. Must be all that hairspray.

Confuse the masses with a little math and blame them for all the problems.  Thats very christian of them...
hoax is a the perfect replacement for the word politics.  Now time to get some answers regarding building seven.

Is there any way to do this?
i know this is a stupid question, and so blatantly obvious i'm missing it, so excuse my ignorance.  I've pushed all the buttons, so to speak, i'm just getting rather blind due to this endless winter.
Thanks for the time.
Mike.

E-mails go through my e-mail server, so are occasionally subject to delay or cancellation without notice, e.g. power cuts, ADSL failure, or - more usually - I've bollixed up my firewall again...

Much obliged sir.
I've been on a few forums that allowed direct favoriting.  It was a rather easy way to keep track of informative topics.
I'm feeling like i'm not gonna get much notification on a thread from page 62, if you get my drift.
Thanks again.

Yes.  Absolutely.  As a matter of fact it would be nice if they cease these upper atmospheric reflective particle tests they are currently performing (at least) in the northeast this spring.
The sun gets warmer regardless of how cold the air is.  This is not a march sun.
Anyone else feeling this?
