Title: B spanner, RA Lister & Co. , Dursley
Post by: OwdPete1962 on July 22, 2022, 09:46:29 AM
Hello, I'm new here as I've been cleaning out the shed and come across a spanner with R A Lister & Co on one side, Dursley on the other side and a letter B. I like it, might hang it up as it's an unusual shape, but despite research I can't find anything on the web that can tell me any more. Can anyone offer any information? Many thanks, Pete

This would be a whole lot easier for someone with a picture!

Someone will surely know better'n' me, but I guess it's spanner "b" from a set that was originally shipped with an engine?

I assume this is cast steel? or stamped? or...?

Looks like a spanner that would generally come with an oxy-acetylene set, but I can't say for sure.
