Project I have been wanting to do for some time. Modified a tractor 3 point hitch snowblower to self powered front mount. LPA3 is small for the project but I can control snow load by adjusting ground speed. Would anyone know what the " working temp" of the engine should be. I have temp and oil pressure installed. I'm hoping that by monitoring the engine temp I won't overload the engine thanks.

Where is your temp sensor mounted? If in airstream - I would expect to see under 200 degrees F. Exhaust Ports may run up to 375 or so, cylinder head temp around 300 or under... mostly educated guesses for this engine. Book specs available if needed - gsj@gci.net

Thanks, this is helpful. Temp sensor is installed in airstream. Ran it under load for about 90min clearing snow. Outside temp ~ -15°C. Engine never went above 135°F.
