Can anyone help me please, I am rebuilding a CS4 lister Petter 1986 engine based on the Ford 2722E the head has been skimmed by 13 thousands of an inch and I am wondering if this will cause issues with valves hitting pistons.

Does anyone know the maximum amount that can be skimmed before you have issues?

I have zero experience with that engine thus I am of no help. Look up dieselgman here on the site. If anyone in America knows, he does.  He is Gary Jones at Diesel Electric Service, Lyons Kansas. If you have troubles finding him shoot me a PM and I will forward contact information.
