Yes sir but unfortunately only for about 6 hours on Thursday, we were camping that weekend but was able to slip away for a bit. Were you there?

"bad money drives out good" started as Gresham's Law in economics but just fits this unpleasant drift in machine design and production. Thank Goodness that it is not a "Law" nor is economics a science. I marvel at yesteryear's standards just as do most of the people at this forum but every once in a while I'll see a "machine" built to fuzzy standards plunk away day after day leaving me flabbergasted as to how does it do it and who was the genius level jerk that designed and built it.

No I didnt go. I went to the HVID show and to flame ignition last year though. I love Coolspring.

I can honestly say coolsprings is responsible for my obsession with stationary engines, on a side note how loud are these rustons? Im designing the exhaust and it takes a little bit more thinking with the exhaust mounted fuel filter assembly that came on the engine. I was thinking about a side dump but also considering a vertical stak but its kind of busy in that area with that and the air start valve.

Check out my youtube "contaucreek" channel for exhaust music. If slowed down and not loaded its about as loud as a dog panting. Carry on a conversation without yelling.

So, what makes it "pant" instead of "bark" ? Valve shape/speed, muffler ?
