This pile is a very low houred 1959 6/1 that is going through the shop. It sat for many years and the bore rusted. Nothing else shows any wear, zero. This will be one heck of a nice engine when done, work or play. We dont preform any patch work "rebuilds". Will be as close to mechanically new as we can make it and documented. Advertised now so it can be trimmed out to buyers specs. Pricing will be attractive I think. Please PM or Email for details.
Thanks for looking,
Butch

Have been unable to contact the person who committed to this engine so bumping it back to the top in the hope he views it and for others who might have interest in the engine.
Engine will be finished shortly and available, waiting on one part.
Totally rebuilt with new standard bore chrome moly liner in original cylinder. New cast iron piston and rings. New big and small end rod bearings. New main bearings, Cylinder head complete reconditioned. new valves and seats. Crankshaft was in excellent shape, still standard and polished. Oil pump has new balls, spring and seats reconditioned. Pump pump and injector rebuilt as new. Engine has not been painted for those who prefer them that way. New data plate for head, new decal set available to buyer.
This engine is a close to new as it can be made and ready to work or play. Nicest low houred CS I have ever had. Please PM or Email for price.

Why not post price?

Good question,
With out undo detail. Those who buy often do not wish for the transaction to be judged by the masses. And frankly I do not want to be judged by the masses, just those with real interest in what I have to sell. Many years of cyber dealings in my wares has taught me it works better this way. The price , along with everything that was done to the engine is available to anyone who asks via PM or Email :)

FWIW I have met Butch and seen his work. I can saw without reservation that you can buy with confidence in both man and machine. Make inquiries guys but dont commit to purchase then disappear on him.

Thank you Paul,
Earl, the 6/1 is long gone but we have other engine cores in stock and in the pipeline. Best to email or PM and I can let you know what we have and have coming in.
