Hi,
You know I've ran a Lister Wanted ad on CL - Big Island for eight years and never came near anything this nice.
Waimea is at the opposite end of the island which is about 75 miles from Camp Aloha, Honaunau. I can't believe there's a real 16-2 Lister on the island. I know one or two guys that are going to be pissed they didn't wait. Me, I'm still happy with my Missouri made Witte.

I called him today and it turns out he is on Kauai. I forgot there's a Waimea on more than one island. ::)
A potential buyer on Kauai is going to check it out and if it doesn't sell I hope to get a call.
BTW, last year after reading this thread http://listerengine.com/smf/index.php?topic=5843.0 I called
Reresa Diesel in South Africa and they gave me this same guy's number. I was curious about shipping
at the time, so I called him. Shipping was pretty steep, so I didn't pursue a Lister from Reresa.

If i am wrong I apologize.
I looked into shipping a changfa from Canada and it was just over 500.00 and Hawaii is a bit farther and several times bigger and heavier so.
And with a buying history of 1 in 2011, some in 07,06 and 02
And the Gasifier and Kubota gen set is the same shipping.
I would have to see it.

I agree. About a year and a half ago I shipped (via DHX) a DES 8/1 and gen head from Kansas and it was less than $500 to my door. It's probably gone up since then.. His ads and feedback leave much to be desired for sure. I'd love to fly over and see it, but it looks like I missed out. :-[

I shipped a Witte about three years ago. It was in a box that was 4x4x8. Volume is the shipping index for Seattle to Hawaii. It weighed in at 3300 pounds and cost $750. OK I had a bunch of other important crap crammed into the box as well.
