I have a real low ceiling, the head would be in the computer room upstairs:)

I second that.

For years my Benelli 900 Sei was parked in my living room.  It doubled as a tree at this time of year.

The ceiling in my living room is 22' high, but my lovely wife's tolerance is not.  :P She had a small fit about the Listeroid purchase, now after it has served faithfully for 5 years the Listeroid is getting some respect.

....."For years my Benelli 900 Sei was parked in my living room"

So, you are downsizing from 6 cylinders to one.....

I guess that would depend on how you measure "downsizing"...

Price is starting to climb when the bots go off I can see it going to $10-15K.

Well, not really, if you count the two Chang Fa and the Thermo King C201 diesel, not to forget the Yanmar noise maker, plus an unmentioned Lister  ;) I count 8 diesel cylinders.  This matches the 8 cylinders I have sitting in motorcycles, Benelli 900 Sei and Suzuki VX800.

though none reside in the living room.

$3050 with ca. 30 minutes to go. Like you say, if there are sniping bots it'll probably go up a lot higher.

I see it's in AL. My Dad's in AL -- wonder if he would let me store it in his apartment until I could get down there to get it? ;-)

EDIT: $4305. Somebody's poking at it.

Also, eBay is helpfully suggesting similar items: "New small 6hp Diesel engine." Yup, that's identical all right! ;-)

I'll guarantee the reserve was at least $9K, the scrap value alone is probably $4K.

Scrap should not be mentioned in the same sentence as Fairbanks Morse. ;) Egads
