Title: 175 APU
Post by: Startomatic on November 20, 2012, 11:35:57 AM
guys, saw this interesting and low cost solution.

the alternator seems big to me. with the AC compressor; i suppose the 175 would probably max out.

truck was a local made. with a triplet axle on the trailer hook to a 4 x 2 prime mover, the driver proudly told me he gross 107 MT!

enjoy the picx;

Veggie,

stationary diesel is like the pretty lady next door we all wish for but we cant!

Butch,

the old NT are aplenty in Indonesia. if you go to the rice field in Java island, most of the irrigation duty were carried out by the NT. these are in used since the 60s. the freight cost to the States is always a deal breaker apart from your EPA. like in everything in this world we live apart, i wish for one of your american muscle car. in my country, we drive cars model that were presumably sold in your Toyrus store. some of them just a mere 660cc zooming past you at 120Km/hr.

Slowspeed,

steel fabrication is cheap in China. i can quote you now. commerical grade steel is about RMB4500 per metric ton. fabrication cost for simple structure is RMB1500 per MT. so you have it; about RMB6000 or USD 1000 per metric ton ex factory. can i have your order now? say MOQ of 400MT?

and now the utilmate city transporter. not diesel but a 2 stroker aircooled twins......

Veggie,

i wanted to until i saw a fleet of these on the road. apparently, it is use as a taxi in the small cities.

apart from these, i saw a cab over engine 3 ton tipper truck using a single horizontal diesel. i believe it will have to be bigger than 1115. this look exactly like any 3 ton production tipper truck except 5 long V Belt driving the real axle; confirming our DIY belt drive is the way to go to take the power stroke shock.

welcome to China!
