Title: single cylinder lister
Post by: sdarmstrong on November 23, 2011, 09:39:18 PM
Hi lads, I have a single cylinder lister on a cement mixer. Its about 10 years old. It is running fine when the mixer is empty but when loaded it makes a sound like its missing a stroke if you know what I mean. Ant ideas what it might be? I dont have much experience with these and would appreciate any advice. Thanks.

If it runs clean without load but not so under load... I would start with air-filter, make sure that is unobstructed. Then look into valve adjustment, and then fuel system. If it has additional symptoms under load, such as black smoke or other anomalies, those could indicate additional directions to take.

a vague answer for a vague question? Get us more details of your machine history and exactly what it is doing please.
