vegomatic,

Were you able to locate a gasket?

My GM-90 is disassembled in storage (2004 batch from Mike M) with a complete gasket kit slated for its rebuild.

If a gasket maker needed a GM-90 head gasket for a pattern I could probably supply it.

I was unaware the standard CS listeroid gasket wouldn't fit.

I emailed you a scan of the spare head gasket that Mike M sent with my engine.
(Thought I could post it here but am at a loss on how to.)
The measurements are 7" x 6 3/4".  It is stamped 5/1.  I thought it was a standard CS type.

Printing on a standard 8.5 x 11 (in) paper should return an close to original size.  How does it compare to your gasket?

We just relocated our storage unit and my disassembled GM90 is in a cargo van in my driveway.  I'll pull out the head this weekend to see if I actually have the correct gasket.

Been thinking this forum might have room for a GM90 section.

Added a Spark_Chaser gallery on the www.listergallery.com site.

Picture one is my head with what I believe to be a STD CS gasket in place.
The gasket was a spare with the engine that was damaged.

4-stud head and gasket for GM90 is not standard CS. Actually I believe 7-stud is the norm for 6/1 and 8/1 CS and they are indeed larger.

Wow I never paid that close attention to the differences before.

On the STD CS types do the seven studs go all the way through the cylinder?

4 studs go through to the block, 3 to the cylinder casting.
