Thats not a Lister engine, where is the COV assembly's for a start.

The fact this engine is fitted with a propriety make of govenor (ACME ?) Listers always made their own govenors, and the unusual vertical mounting arangement for the dynamo should make it possible to identify.

It may have being an auxillary ships diesel engine, as it has a split crankcase allowing it to be dismantled in situ, without the need to disturb the lower half of the crankcase.
