Sure, and if you mod a Listeroid with a hemispherical combustion chamber and a domed piston, you'll have a Hemi-roid!     :P

They seem to have forgotten the original Wankel was a GAS HOG. Yet they didn't say how they were going to make it efficient. The 2 stage design looks interesting, but now we are back to more weight and moving parts.

Gas hogs, powerful but noisy yet retired Wankel housings can be used to make fish tanks.
