Biography There was no doubt I was going to be an engineer, now I are one
Degree in electronics from Liverpool University
Ph.D and post-doc research in pulse compression radar and signal processing at King's College, Cambridge University
Worked in all sorts of odd areas, active noise control, high end motor racing (Indy cars and F1), electric vehicles and engineering consultancies
Been self-employed for 15 years
Now working part time for a small engineering consultancy
Building two 4" scale traction engines and flying full size sailplanes and power aircraft
