G'day.  Maybe image size?  If you use whatever Picture Manager app you have on your device so that your image is sized to appear at 100% when it fills most of your screen - then it's a good size to view and a good size file to upload (save as a JPEG) using the "attachments" function at the bottom of the dialogue box in which you type - see below?  Cheers

I use Windows Picture Manager and 'compress' the image not crop as cropping does not compress the pixels to suit Forums. I compress to being a ''document'' size image and this allows me to post 3 images at a time.

FWIW.  When an image is displayed on your screen, somewhere there is a little box telling you it's displayed at, say, 20% or 30% or whatever

Also somewhere on your computer you'll have an image management programme.  If you right-click on the image file and select "open with", it will probably give you some options

A couple of suggestions:

Open the image in the image-management application of your choice

Somewhere in the "edit" area there will be an option "resize"

If the image is currently displaying at, say, 25% to fit on your screen - then resize it to 23% or 24% and you'll find it now displays on your screen at 100% or close-enough.  Save it as a JPEG with another file name to distinguish this small image from the original

In terms of the number of bytes of digital storage the image occupies - you will probably find it's now 1/10th or 1/15th or some such of the original digital file size

I would think that if you upload it to the site using the "Attachments and other options" feature just below the dialogue box where you type your reply/message - it should load easily and open as a fits-on-a-page image

Just saying . . .  Cheers

Hi

Just manage any image to be 950 (Max) pixels wide, and it  fits good.

There should be a little date plate on the engine something like attached photo. If you cannot manage to put a photo on here you can add it to dropbox or photobucket etc.

Hello everybody,

It's happened right ... at the classic car meeting in Prüm, a Lister N° 245DHZ10 strayed in my birthday basket ... spurred on by the funny "Steampunkmopet" Lister I stumbled on a Dutch exhibitor about it.

Now I search engine data and technical documents about it ... the WWW / google unfortunately does not give so much ...

Greeting Heri

You can see the running engine ,ok only the Pullywheel on the left site for a second ;.)

G'Day Heri,
So what do you require? A manual? If so we would need to know what it looks like (a picture if possible) and any model numbers and serial numbers to find a manual for you.

Hi Onkelheri

Your engine number shows: 245DHZ10

245 it's engine number in the year of production;
D, stands for model D; H stands for hopper cooling; and Z stands for anticlock fly rotation.

And 10 means 1950+10=1960

Take a loock here: http://www.realdiesels.co.uk/identify/buildnos2.jpg

Hi Onkelheri

Don't spoil your Lister D. This is a truly stationary engine. Put something of his age...
