And the seller think it's gold plated.

We used them to recharge army radio batteries. If I remember we could only drag  about 10 amps out of them.  But that was in the middle of the last century.

Unless I am much mistaken, that is a cooper RV1 four stroke petrol engine, they were manufactured in Australia under license from the Iron Horse engine company in the USA. The piston pump and Southern Cross set up I am currently working on would originally have had a Cooper RV1 engine. They were made here in the 1940`s.
