Lister SR2 Engine Oil

I need to do an oil change on my narrowboat's Lister SR2, can anyone offer any advice on what type / brand would be the best?

Your SR will work fine with any diesel rated lube oil. We use 15-40 multi-viscosity. Several manufacturers... Shell Rotella, Mobil, and many others. Find one you like and stick with the same brand - do not mix brands if it can be avoided.
