Cheers I shall do,  I'm whipping the head off tomorrow and hopefully all will be OK but I have a sneaking feeling that the rings are gone,  there's loads of compression but there's exhaust coming through the breather by the look of it.  Hoping I've got the skill to do it all,  I'm learning every day
