Serpentine pulley source
« on: March 28, 2016, 04:24:45 PM »
Hi All,

Anyone know a source for 8 ribbed serpentine pulleys ?

I am looking for:
8 ribs
6.0" diameter
1" bore ( or taper lock bushing style )

This is to match up with the 8.34", 8 rib serpentine pulley on my ST-5 generator head

Thanks,
veggie

PS: I think it would cost me a small fortune to get one custom made locally

We are stocked on the micro-v pulleys. We keep them in K and L style with the SK QD bushings - taper lock quick disconnect.

I will have to check on 6" though... I think we jump from 5" to 7" in those.

EDIT: We have 3.5, 5.0, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 15 inch sizes - nothing in 6" at the present time. No one has requested that size. That could be ordered in though.

Gary,  do you sell the belts as well?   Or do you have a recommendation on where to get them?

We also stock the belts in 105 inch and 120 inch lengths (about right for a typical 24" flywheel and ST generator head) - both K and L section. For K8 I believe some automotive/truck serpentine belts are a good choice but I do not have a vendor or part number at the present time.

Just PM dieselgman here on the forum. Gary will take care of you.
At least it worked for me.
