Well, boat is out of the water now. Hosed her down and found out the paint is still in pretty good nick.

The cover is worn though and will be replaced soon.

That is soooo  sweet! I've wanted to make a listeroid boat for many years now.
Currently no listeroids, sad........ very sad.....
Just some other antique engines ranging from 40 pounds to 33,000 pounds each.

Absolutely beautiful!  What speed is she idling at?   That must make boating a pleasure! ;D

Count the bangs over 10 seconds then multiply by 12. Comes out around 300 rpm. Works for four stroke twins as well as the two adjacent firing strokes blend into one.

So, cover is replaced by a new one. Boat actually stays dry now when it's raining :)

Decided to take away a bit of rust on the underside of the boat and paint the whole outside just to make it look nice and fresh again.

Let a mechanic take a look at the engine. She was smoking more then i wanted last year so I suspected the pistonrings. Two appaered to be broken but it turned out that water came in the (running) engine once.... connecting rod is bent, piston will be replaced and cylinder will be honed. Lets see what we'll find more.

Anybody who can help me out here? Would really appreciate it! ;D

As a long term salt water sailor, I respectful;ly suggest NO BRASS in the water cooling system; use BRONZE ONLY!  Brass is made with zinc which will be effected by galvanic corrosion. Nice looking boat; congratulations! overbore

FWIW ,
Saltwater boats usually have sacrificial anodes made of pure zinc. Usually clamped on the prop shaft and rudder hardware. They get replaced as needed. The galvanic action will eat the zinc out of the bronze.

She's up and running again. Still gotta do some small things but I'm pretty happy right now:
