Yup the injector attaches just fine upside down.

Yah I know and I spray wvo eather  into my rad or at the wall and I can't see if it is dribbling. And there is no gauge.

I made my own tester with a grease gun as the pump.  Worked great and already threaded for 1/8 pipe threads.  I cut the end off of a spare injection line to get the fitting, then drilled a 1/8 thread plug and JB welded the cut tubing into the plug.  The only problem I had was in using vegetable oil; the seals in the grease gun failed after a year and it had to be replaced.  I suggest flushing it out with mineral oil after use if you're using veg. oil.
