The official fuel usage is .11 gal per kw per hour. My 6/1 is run at about 3kw and uses about 1/3 gal of fuel an hour.

My 6/1 & ST5, at 1,400 ft, running around 1740wh, gave me:
227 Hours YEAR    395,405 Wh    59.5 Gallons   6,645 Wh per gallon   0.262 gl / hr

pump diesel w/10% bio-diesel or some 2 stroke oil for the pump lube

Well, look at that, While I try to keep it loaded up to about 2500w, when "stuff" happens, and the batteries fill up, or I was
still dialing in the charger, I put a lot of lightly loaded hours on it.  I don't notice it using oil,

A natural aspirated diesel will run 12-15 HP per gallon per hour at 100% load. A typical PHW2 Petter would do about 14.75 HP per gallon per hour iirc. Seen a recent Nebraska  test on a Tier IV emission John Deere that was making 18.95 HP per gallon per hour iirc.
