Hey!  You book learned jackasses.  They was just breakin her in.  If you want to run them hard you just gotta break them in hard!  Everyone here knows this to be the first rule of SAE mechanicin. 

I mean they're only dealin with about 10 horsepower.  Say one of them wheely jobs pops off.  How much damage could it do - Really.

Yep, that's why the guy was standing in front of the flywheel - just in case, so he could catch it. Wouldn't want one of those things rolling around the shop damaging anything would we?
