Orcas
Island in Washington
Orcas Island is the largest of the San Juan Islands, which are located in the northwestern corner of Washington state in San Juan County, Washington. Wikipedia
Elevation: 734 m
Island group: San Juan Islands
Population: 4,453 (2000)

Coordinates    48°39′15″N 122°56′18″W

Looks like Vancouver Island, Salt Spring Island,North Pender Island and Saturna island British Columbia Canada are just a stones throw away. Bellingham Washington would be the nearest major US center.
A piece of paradise around there.

I sort of did a double take when I saw the vid. said -17 F.  Orcas Island?  Wife and I are on Fox Island **, and it never gets much below freezing.  That vid' must have been someone else's build.

Direct drive via a flex coupler, on a welded steel base, for $700, it's a bargain.  Too bad I won't be up there again 'till September, or I think I might snag it.

Ashwamegh 6/1, PowerSolutions 6/1 "Kit" engine, and a Changfa R175a that looks like a Yanmar I once knew

My thoughts exactly Quinnf.  -17 degrees on Puget Sound - I don't think so.  17 above would be pretty darn cold for the islands.

So what does "Unit Injector" mean?

I've seen the injectors on Detroit Diesels described as Unit injectors. On DD engines low pressure fuel is piped to the injector and a 3rd lobe on the cam for each cylinder operates the injection pump that is built into each injector. Since the ip and injector are 1 unit they are called unit injectors.

The pictured engine is not equipped with a unit injector.

*IF* I'm reading the text of the add correctly, his engine is NOT a Changfa, but the video he linked to IS a Changfa.  I think he's trying to claim how good the design is, not show off his actual engine.

Still seems to be a bargain, even if you have to wade through the BS.  I'd want a close visual inspection before exchanging cash, however.
