How to link the gearstick from backside to frontside on a LISTER DORSLEY SL 29

Please give me some tips how I can link the gearstick from the backside position to frontside so I can have thestick beside my drivingposition.
PLEASE HELP :-\ ::) :o
The engine are a LISTER DORSLEY SL 29 Yearmodel 1962
