British Standard O rings?
« on: June 30, 2006, 12:37:55 AM »
I have been trying to get my Listeroid back together but I have run into a problem with the O-rings for the sleeve.  1/8 dia. is too small and 3/16 is too large.  I suspect that they might be British Standard but I can't seem to find them.  so, 1) can anyone tell me if they are actually British Standard (and what size they are) and 2) can anyone tell me where to find them?  Thanks

Morgan

All of the engines that use liners are metric. I've got some o-rings  but I'll need to measure them. I think they are 4 mm, or approximately .157". A 5/32 oring is .15625 and would work well if the size is indeed between 1/8" and 3/16". I'll have to check Monday because I'm about to leave for the Denton, NC engine show.
