our kiss program for a starter on our 10/1
« on: April 05, 2013, 03:35:20 AM »
Hi all,
selmawp and I put together a starter and thought we'd share a video of it for you.
I'm (Dennis) doing all the talking on the video but it was my good friend Tony at selmawp that really did all the work and deserves the thanks and credit for making me be a part of his projects. Especially since I'm the one who benefits from his mechanical genius.

I really like your starter!

For everyone's benefit... Which model Delco is that?  Where did you purchase the 2" rubber bendix wheel?

Hi, the wheel comes from Fixture Works part # RR-2020-80-EX750 cost $24.45 plus shipping

The starter fits Chevi 70- 95.

If there is enough interest we are thinken of making extra ones.

Put me down for order #1, please, as my lower back is almost not allowing me to walk! Have an 8/1 ; close enough.

We would have an interest in stocking them as well!
I am guessing, that the starter model would fit the Chevy V-8 engines?

Probibly most starters would work, the problem is finding and attaching the rubber wheel to the starter shaft.I still have an old ford starter from the 50's with the bare shaft and no nose, that should be easy.Very good design on the video. Frank C.
