HHO what do you know?
« on: April 04, 2013, 12:52:55 AM »
Is it a waste of to make a fuel cell and install on my truck? I have seen hho cells on YouTube and they claim to increase mileage by 20 to 60% . Dose anyone have expereance with this ? What were your results?
thanks for any input

HHO - uses power from your alternator to crack a miniscule amount of H & O from a tank of water.   And if the H & O are stored in one vessel, anything can set off an explosion.  But you consume more power via the alternator & battery, then you get back in mileage.
Or spend the $300 and prove me wrong.

I am way to tight to buy something I even think I can make, but I was wondering if anyone had any real results or is it just to good to be true.
I almost forgot I'm not tight any more I'm just green! ( lol )

There is a reason these systems never have independent test data to support their claims.
It's "free energy" all over again.

Sorry guys, we all wish there was a free lunch, and some go after it in spite of the physics to the contrary.

Sorta like 2+2=4 while the other 2+2=4 huh.

When I hear "conspiracy" I always get a funny feeling in my throat.  Like the tide is going to flow in the wrong direction putting my nostrils at risk.  OK, I know companies do buy other companies so they can take that company to the dump but if you could improve fuel economy by 5% - how many billions do we spend on gasoline in this country per year? - One of the car companies in a resource starved country would be on the band wagon.

My guess is that if you determined the miniscule amount of oxygen these units develop and believed it would increase mileage by 5% we'd all have oxygen injectors on our vehicles - injectors connected to a storage tank.  I wonder how much power it takes to run one of these revolutionary devices?  I wonder how many electrical systems have been KO'd at one level or another by faulty no fused installations?

A nice light morning rant.  I like it.

I have played with this a little, HHO will boost the output from an internal combustion engine a little by lighting off the fuel earlier and producing a cleaner more efficient fuel burn.

I wouldn`t touch it with a barge pole, unless you can afford to buy sheets of gold or platinum to use as electrodes. Marine grade stainless steel will only last a couple of weeks before the iron is all leached out and deposited in the bottom of your vessel in a nasty brown mess.

WTF was that all about?

Only thing I need to know is the 2 Names I see, Stanley Meyer and Nicola Tesla.
The heroes of the Voodoo science crackpots and Unicorn and fairy dust believers.

HOhoho gas Will NOT increase Mileage or anything else  and this is such an old load of crap with so many Idiotic claims it's not even worth discussing again.

Perhaps if you pre-heat the fuel it will work?

Just trying to be helpful.

With a propane hand torch.  Of course.  We wouldn't want to do anything risky.

HAHAHAHA!
If there is a fool here, it sure as hell isn't me!

I don't believe most things till I try it myself and I tried this with a mate who does research for the aerospace industry over 10 years ago now.  I still have vids and pics of the test we did somewhere.

We set up a diesel engine with a fixed monitored load and also a way to measure fuel consumption VERY precisely.
We ran  a bunch of tests, 3-4 times each  in random order and the results all lined up very well.  Having the HOHOHO gas going into the engine run just from a battery and the alternator on the engine not even having to power the electrical load made no difference we could detect. Having the alternator driving the gas generator load ALWAYS resulted in higher fuel consumption or less power to the load if the same amount of fuel was used.

It's only logical.  You have the parasitic losses of a drive belt and the inefficiency of changing Chemical energy to mechanically energy to electrical energy and back to chemical energy. Then you have to cover all those losses and add more surplus to get a net gain in a process that is only 33% efficient to start with!    ::)
Only the completely ignorant of high school physics or the mentally challenged could possibly believe that was going to happen!

I published the results in several places and the responses from the Koolaide drinking, pot smoking deciples of the fairy dust and Moon beam religion was always the same, endless Bullshit excuses of what we did wrong..... The plates in the Hohoho generator were too close, they weren't close enough, we should have used different voltages in the generator, none of which even 2 people could agree on, we used the wrong electrolyte, we used too much electrolyte, not enough electrolyte, the phase of the moon was wrong,  The price of fish is Kaganski was too high that day, the man on the moon who controls the cosmic waves had slept in that day and didn't activate the orgone waves  and so the endless bullshit and idiotic excuses  went.

The thing is though, all the gullible suckers and pea brains that believe in this crap have NEVER demonstrated this working in a measured test.
It's all heresay  and testimonials  from Billy Bob Bullchitter  of wherethe fukarewe  someplaceunknown going on about how he fitted some setup to his 7.3L and now gets 156 MPG towing a 100K Lb trailer up Pikes peak at 95MPH and other laughable fantasy.

The mere fact that all these arseclowns have not put one single measured demonstration vid up on YT after all these years tells you what Bulldust and make believe this crap all is. But don't tell me, it really works but is a conspiracy by Big oil and gubbermints to suppress it from the people....
Yeah right, heard that one before 1000 times.

If you want to convince anyone with a working brain rather than those whom have Play-Doh between their ears, set up a measured test on an engine and PROVE to  people in a verifiable way that it does work instead of all the moronic hype and garbage the soft headed believers of this rubbish insult the rest of us with an IQ over 50 with.

Last post in the original thread was April 05 2013. 6 years and 4 months later..........

I haven't heard HHO mentioned in well, 6 years and 4 months. I thought it had pretty much been kicked to the curb as bunk.
