North Texas newbie: Questions
« on: February 22, 2012, 02:49:58 AM »
I joined this forum several months back and really enjoy reading all the various topics.....understanding them, however, is proving to be a challenge for my non-engineering mind.  (I'm in sales in the I.T. industry).

My question is whether or not there are any Lister guys up here in North Texas that would be open to meeting from time to time to teach me about Lister engines, generators, etc?

My purpose for wanting to learn is just because i feel that these will be skills that would prove valuable at some point in the near future, unfortunately.  I want to be able to be part of the solution and not the problem if and when things get crazy with our electrical grid, plus I want to be able to provide for my family properly.

Reading about the engines is one thing, but learning from someone in person seems to be more productive for me.

I can be contacted through this site.

Thanks in advance.
