Dursley cylinder - wet sleeve?
« on: August 03, 2011, 04:27:07 AM »
I read a post about drysleeving a Dursley cylinder.    My cylinder has a crack into the water passage big enough yo put a pencil through.    A dry sleeve repair won't work.  Has anyone converted an original Dursley to a wet liner?

Wags,  you up for an interesting project?   I'm here in w Lafayette, IN

I have been into both but can't say for sure one way or the other.  James Helmuth is supposed to be at Oblong next week, good source of both knowledge and parts.  I have an Indian wet sleeve cylinder block that I will likely never use I can bring along for you to look over and for sale. Allso have a sleeve, we can talk about that but it's one of my spares.

Let me know,
