Hey,

Pretty neat. 

I thought the air cooled units were suppose to be a lot louder than the water cooled ones.  Did I miss something?  Sounds good to me.

I think the noise factor is a significantly larger difference, water-cooled vs air-cooled, once these are running at 1800 rpm. 850 rpm is somewhat louder but only by a small amount.

Yes I think the most noticeable difference is the noise of the fan

ignition knock and the mechanical diesel rattle is not baffled nor attenuated by a water jacket in the case of the air-cooled machine.
