lister sr1 lower RPM
« on: May 04, 2011, 07:41:06 AM »
I just bought a Lister sr1 which is rated 2000 RPM and 7.5 HP
Is there a way to have it run much slower (below 1000 rpm), how much power would it deliver and will it work properly?

This has been answered on the other thread... Not adviseable to run below 1,000 on this model... others in the same range did have lower ratings but had much less displacement than the SR.

You will make 4 hp gross at 1,000 rpm and 5 hp at 1200 with this engine.
