Help! need info Lister D 1hp

can anyone help me for some info on my rare 1hp Lister D, all I know is that it runs at 550rpm and was built for a company called Laidlaw Drew & Co in 1940. It seems that I'm the only person that's got one. Ive tried David Edgington who wrote the book " History of The Lister D" and even he was stumped. many thanks bill53uk :D :D :D

Sounds like it was derated to 1 hp due to the 550 governed speed as opposed to the usual 700 or so.If it was a special build for a Company then maybe their application required a lower RPM.
