lister cs 5/1 fuel pump

hi, im new on here i have just purchased a lister cs 5/1. i have had it running a couple of times with no problems at all, but now she just dosent want to start, i had the injector tested and thats fine but the dosent seem a lot of fuel pressure comming out of the fuel pump with the pipe off, can anyone help me.

Sounds like an air lock in the fuel system try bleeding.

There won't be ANY fuel pressure with the pipe detached !!  Connect it back up and bleed the fuel system.

Not only will there be no pressure with the injector line loosened, but also no flow if there is air in the pump. You may need to loosen the delivery valve to remove air or the pumping element may not be able to move adequate fuel to compress the trapped air and move it through the delivery valve before the pressure side returns to atmospheric.
