Hi there. I have  a Lister engine in my fishing boat, for pumping the fishroom and charging the batterys. A couple of days a go the lister just stopped. I found diesel in the oil sump, so I'm not too sure where to start looking.
The S/No on it is 32001425T2C-04
9KW @ 1500RPM.

I have another lister with the s/No of 3405756TS2A01
1500RPM   7.1 KVA.

would both of there engines be a straight swap?
What could be wrong with the Lister that just stopped.
Any info on either engines would be great.

I look forward to your replies.
Great site by the way..

Diesel in the sump is usually the lift pump diaphragm leaking, or one of the fuel pipes fractured.

That would also affect the running.

The engine numbers are slightly different, you need to check the TSXX part, if they are TS2 engines, then they will be basically the same mechanically, just the build may be different.
