any one heard of nissan brand listeroid engine are they same quality.    JD

I have heard of them but dunno about quality.

Just play it safe and get a Powerline or JKson. These are tried and tested by many. Their faults are relatively few and they are well documented on this site and others.
Unless you get the Nissan for half the price of the others, I would steer towards the well known brands.

I think you mean Kissan and some of their engines have been sold here.

There are a 3 Kissan Petteroids I kow of for example

Not sure who makes them, but they do exist.

Aside from their name on the crankcase cover plate it looks identical to any number of other 1000 rpm listeroids. I wonder if they assembly  the parts or just a reseller.

i think they are around 400.oo from oversease with a 10 or 12 minimum order do not know of seller in states. JD

India is still a very closed market.

Consider there is no Kubota dealer there for protectionist reasosns. Its possible someone as latched onto the idea of using a big brand name like Nissan to try and sell their engines. It may be people in India or Africa think this is a Nissan even though there in no connection betwen this brand and Japan.

There is no Kubota in India but there is a Cubota listeroid .....
