This article is from Stationary Engine magazine in 1991. The author recounts the experience of using a Lister SOM as the only source of power in a remote Farmhouse over a period of 10 years. It's a fascinating tale !!

Houston we have a problem !!!  Regardless of what I do to invert pages 5 & 7 they will not appear the right way up !!  The images are correct in the picture host that I use but when they appear here they are inverted !!! Arrrgh !!  Please copy onto your own PC and flip them on there !!

Well thats just plain bizarre !!  They are inverted when I view the topic !!  If they're ok for everyone else thats fine by me !!

A really interesting article,the story told over such a long time gives an invaluable
insight into the practicality of a SOM,-and the associated maintenance.
