Kimberley BC, Canada was named after your Kimberley, as it had (up until about 7 years ago) the largest Silver, Lead, Zinc mine in the world. The "Sullivan Mine" pumped out over $20 Billion dollars worth of mineral over it's nearly 100 year lifespan. It too is 1/2 full of water (the rest runs out the entrances) and I'm sure there are many many Listers sitting at the bottom of it still.
