Oiler,

That is surprising.  The seller had a 100% rating for feedback on about 150 transactions over 4 years.

Are you sure the mobile number is the actual seller, or is he fronting for another member of the family or a friend?  Mostly low value goods as far as I can see, for the feedback.

Item #180307055774 lists phone as Chris on 07972 927733.

I am sure it will be sorted and epay/paypal will unravel the mystery.

Hoping you have not lost the money and Chrismas will be better than you fear.

Regards, RAB

Torsten. enter the item number and user id of the seller into this advanced search page and that will give you his Ebay address and other details.  http://shop.ebay.co.uk/advsearch/_W0QQ_sofindtypeZ9?&_in_kw=1&_sacat=See-All-Categories&_ftrt=901&_ftrv=1&_saslop=1&_saslt=2&_sadis=200&_sargn=-1&_salic=3&_saact=3&LH_SALE_CURRENCY=0&_sop=12&_dmd=1&_ipg=50 . hopefully its all a misunderstanding somewhere.

What a heartbreaker.

Death to all dream robbers!

It goes without saying he's not replying to your emails through "Contact Seller"?

Please contact all the police in the world.  Each inquiry to Ebay puts more pressure on them to clean up their shop.  I've found them and PayPal to be a rude joke on the buyer.  They are far more interested in finding reasons to deny a refund than get rid of their trash.

Please contact all the police in the world.  They may not bother with "kymcs17" this time or next but when he pisses off the wrong person all of the complaints will come down to help the prosecution whack him as hard as possible.

When I saw the U-Tube video I wondered what kind of idiot would get a child that close to a piece of machinery as dangerous as these Listers.  But then I’m always suspicious of folks that use children to hide behind or sell stuff.  So are all four of these people involved in a criminal conspiracy?  A significant felony - Dad, Mom, Camera Person and the sweet Child?  Hey, how about rebroadcasting the U-Tube only with the warning about these people being petty thief’s.
Quote
"Can you believe this sweet boy is helping his daddy and mommy steal money from unsuspecting buyers on Ebay.  Wouldn't it be nice if Ebay or U-Tube were concerned how their service was being used to bilk everyday people out of their money and dreams!"

It’s almost 10 AM.  Time to start cooking dinner for the big day.

Not yet.
I've passed on the phonenumber from the eBay add to the courier.
The number I got from seller in an email was obviusly wrong.
Perhaps I should have called him myself, but my spoken english is not too good.
I have send him four more emails, but still no repply.

Let us see what happens.

Hi agin

My courier has informed me that seller is copletely unwilling to put the engine on a pallet, even thogh he promised me to do so.
The courier on the other hand only transports goods on pallets........SIGH

Now what? I have two days left to leave feedback, and hold my claims open at PayPal.

I'm beginning to see my 800£ flying away.

If the seller agreed to palletise the engine and is now refusing to do so then he has broken the sale contract. You should be able to claim your money back from paypal if that is explained to them.
The only other option is to arrange for a specialist company to collect the engine , palletise it for you and then have your courier collect it from them. If it helps I am willing to assist by finding a suitable company.

1. Negative feedback, it does make just a wee bit of difference

2. Paypal. If you paid via paypal, you can open a dispute, no problem. I do a lot of buying and selling on ebay and have been on both ends of disputes, if you need assistance with paypal I would be entirely willing to help you FWIW

3. Ebay. They take it at least a little bit serious when items are not received. File a item not recieved dispute

Yo Torsten,

This is kind of different than them disappearing with your money.  Your shipper should have references for getting the merchandise palletized.  The question is whether the seller will give your palletize people access to the engine when they arrive?

How much of your money will they refund without the crapshoot of EBay or PayPal?  I’ve tried three times to get compensation from PayPal and they always found a way to weasel out.

How much would it cost to fly over and do it yourself?  If you pay my way roundtrip from Kona, Hawaii I’d be very temped to do it myself for nothing except crating materials.  Don’t let this fantastic opportunity for a moralistic romantic adventure slip through your fingers.

No problem Torsten , happy to help. I suppose it's just a case of who between myself and 1958steveflying is nearer to the engine location.
