Seems to me Peter, he says he has the original manuals.  That, from a legal point of view would indicate he is the legal owner of the data.  Whether he gets a "cleaner" copy from you or anyone else, he still (if we can believe him) is the owner of the data.

Well i am asking you to please remove the pictures.Find the source of the pictures and ask permission to use them.If the source cannot be found then do not use.If the source does not give permission then do not use.If it was mistakenly  used from not knowing etiquette then apologise.People do make mistakes.No harm done in admitting a fuck up.

It wasn't, that's why it was asked twice :D

Peter if you are lurking, take up the offer to watermark your stuff for free... then you will know once and for all.
