Hi guys,

I still cant figure out how to fix the build date etc with the following serial: 2095SL112
And has somebody a manual for this SL1?

   Tijmen, your engine has the post 1950 dating system, so it's decoded as follows--- serial number within year of production,2095, engine model,SL, number of cylinders, 1,
   year of build 12, added to 1950 = 1962. I think forum member "Listerdiesel" may have manuals, so contact him and enquire. Regards,  Combustor.

We do have the SL manual in the library, but cannot do copying or scanning, simply because of the time involved. It is Book 352/865 and covers the LD and SL engines.The SL is 3/16" larger bore than the LD, but they are very basically the same engine.

Happy to quote any data from them though.

Copies of most of the manuals are on ebay these days.
