Yes, we had a member waiting for delivery of his machine from "0ldstyle Listers". I wonder how he made out? When you see "Rebates" mentioned it doesn't sound too good for his machine to materialize. What a bummer! Seems strange that such a big enterprize should fold due to an accident to one person, or maybe the EPA rulings were the straw that broke his back.

Listeroid 12/2 Jkson with 10kw head, for backup now on diesel. Future interests: WVO, bio,  Cogen - Heat exchangers - solar.

I never had the impression that it was a big company - maybe 3 people tops.

I probably would never buy anything there - so many weird things are going on.

I still get a chuckle that the first name & middle initial of the "customers" in the feedback section are the same as the owner.

Has anyone actually ever bought anything from there?

PayPal reports (when you go in and pretend you want to buy an alternator) that the account is unable to recieve money.

You can say 'niggling' as long as it's hooked to 'doubt', 'itch', or 'conscience'.   ;D

"Niggardly" is on the way out.  NObody seems to remember the definition of that one.   :-\

Perhaps a face-saving way to exit the biz?  Recall what was posted on the website over the last year and connect the dots.  The individual in question appear(ed)s to be possessed of an enormous ego.  As if that matters.  Hope it's something like that because serious back problems aren't anything I'd wish on more than a handful of people throughout human history.

I have an engine on order with OSL. I saw this post last night but really did not want to say anything until I had heard from them. I sent some queries last night but so far I have heard nothing. This whole thing is starting to become a bit of an emotional roller coaster for me, and I haven't even turned a wrench yet. I have been a good boy getting ready for my engine and learned whatever I can. I have recieved George's CD and it is as good as advertised.
Sometimes things in life start to develop a pattern. The pattern for me thus far has been backing up. First, I was disabused of the notion that I could just check my engine out and run it by the folks here. Now, I am perhaps back at square zero with an outstanding invoice on top of that. Hopefully, the gods will relent and permit me to have my own lister one day! If anything of particular interest happens I will post it.

One of us Bruces has to go, so I changed my name.
