great pics, I see now why keel cooling won't work. Hope engine is proceeding as well. This should be in Tijmen's post. although if any one has listers and boats in the same picture I'm for it!

Here i have some nice collection of engines which are used in ships: Engine collection
Below "merken" you have a list of engine fabricators with a few dutch engines like Industrie, kromhout, brons and werkspoor.
And beneath "diverse motoren" there is another nice collection, especially check the "buitenboord motoren"  :o (outboard engine)!

here you have some movie collection of working engine's inside a ship: Engine movie's

At the following link you can see some pictures of Tugboats or Tugboat gathering

Thanks for sharing - very interesting and that little tug with the CS2 is very cute, but not much freeboard eh?  Reminds me of a west coast boom boat!

Dutch iron/steel craft - the best.  Would love to live on one of those canal boats...if I could just convince the wife! ::)

Poor thing, carries so much iron, it's about to swamp.

What sort of load can it pull, I guess the pier it was tied to was too big.   Idles nicely !!  Thanks!

Very interesting...

Is it common to use listers for the primary power on smaller boats?
