Well i am not going to trash it.Its not going to do any work.Squirt of oil on the top, heat gun down the intake, spin it over, chug chug yippee. Then put it in a corner of the shed and fondle it occasionally.Dont know about the conrod. All apears to be ok after i straitened it but cant be sure for certain which is why i changed it,and most definetly  would not give to anyone else.Crankshaft i do not know about.Had a bitch of a job getting the flywheel and pulley off.Crankshaft is out of the engine with a flywheel still attached.Main bearings seem to be ok.Yes the case would be a good foundation for an oid, well at least it would give them a fighting chance

Lendusaquid, don't make me come over there  >:(. Actually I'd love to see your Lister in person  :). Maybe I could pickup a real Lister cheap while I was over there. Maybe I could hide it in my carry on.

You would be more than welcome to visit. You could try putting it in your carry on but i think you would be a cripple by the time you got home. While you  are here i could show you smooth flat machined and level surfaces. The accurate  and correctly fitting parts and the quality of the castings, and thats all on a piece of scrap. Its not that iam rubbing it in  ::)  much.
Ill expect a knock on the door soon then.I know a good place to hide in the shed ;D

No Spark....It wouldn't fit under the seat in front of you and I don't think you could heave it into the overhead bins.  Although, after just coming back from S. America, I've seen some pretty hefty stuff slung up there!

How about a guest bed in your shed with the Lister. Hmmmm, this could be a shorter Lister shopping trip than I thought  ;) . Anyone over there with a quiet truck and crane?

What we need is someone who is into yachting and sails across the pond occasionally.A lister would make great ballast.
Yes you can stay in my shed as long as you promise not to bring any spanners with you.

Finally removed the other flywheel from the crankshaft.Only needed 25 tons and a large hole in my wallet.
